What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Your email address — used solely to manage your free report and subscription access.
• Billing information if you subscribe — processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your credit card number.

That's it. We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any other personal identifying information unless you choose to provide it.

What happens to your medication data

When you enter medications, diagnoses, or other health information and click Analyze, that information is sent to our server, processed to generate your report, and then immediately discarded. We do not store, log, or retain any medication or health information you enter.

Your report exists only on your screen. Once you close it, it's gone from our end. That's why we offer a print button — so you can save your own copy.

Third-party services we use

Running CheckMyPrescription requires two outside services. Here is exactly what they receive:

• Anthropic — the AI that reads your medication list and generates the report. Your medication data passes through Anthropic's systems to produce your results. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their use of that data.
• openFDA — the FDA's public drug label database, which we query by medication name only. No personal information is sent to the FDA.
• Stripe — our payment processor, used only if you subscribe. Stripe handles all billing data under their own strict privacy and security standards.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, social media pixels, or any other third-party data services.

Email communications

We will only email you for two reasons: to confirm your account or subscription, or to notify you of changes to this service that directly affect you. We will never send you promotional emails, newsletters, or marketing of any kind unless you specifically ask for them.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your email address from our records at any time. Send a request to the contact address below and we will remove it promptly. If you have a paid subscription, canceling it also removes your data from our active records.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a way that reduces your privacy protections, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect. We will never make a material change quietly.
